AN HUNG JOINT STOCK COMPANY WINNING IN TOP 100 SUSTAINABLE ENTERPRISES IN VIETNAM IN 2018

On November 22, 2018, the Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development - VBCSD under the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry - VCCI held a ceremony to announce 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2018, in order to recognize receive strong commitments of enterprises for the sustainable development of businesses and communities.

From nearly 500 business records participating in the Program, after nearly 3 months of urgently evaluating and scoring the preliminary and final exams of the Review Board as well as collecting opinions and comments on legal compliance of enterprises from the Relevant authorities, the Organizing Committee has selected 100 typical companies of the business community in the implementation of sustainable development to honor at the Announcement Ceremony of Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2018. .

Mr. Hoang Quang Phong - Vice Chairman of VCCI and Deputy Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Mau Diep announced and awarded the certificate of sustainable enterprise 2018.

         In the first time participating, An Hung Joint Stock Company (ANHUCO) was assessed by the Council to be in the list of 100 Sustainable Enterprises in Vietnam in 2018. This title aims to honor businesses with sustainable development and make positive contributions to community life, as well as help improve the competitiveness of enterprises in the context of global integration. This result is evaluated based on the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) developed and updated annually by VCCI. The CSI set of indicators is also considered an effective tool to assess the capacity, manage the structure as well as improve the sustainable development of the enterprise.

Mr. Le Kim Minh - Deputy General Director of An Hung Joint Stock Company received the Certificate of Sustainable Enterprise 2018.

          The achievement of the title of "Vietnam Sustainable Enterprise in 2018" has contributed to affirming the positive results for ANHUCO's continuous efforts in moving towards sustainable development in a strong way, properly responding to international practices and criteria for sustainable business development.
